2. Set 1:1-7
Set 2: 8-30
Set 3: 31-48
Set 4: 49-82
I think the first set is the most powerful, having to leave your civil life to the army life is a big transition and takes a toll not only on the loved ones around you but most importantly yourself.
The images work well together to tell a story because they keep his personal life included with it.
3.The captions are all in present tense when Ian is the main subject of that photo. The captions enhance the photos by driving the story and giving details that might not be seen in the photos.
4.

Caption Two Photo(6) Jarod is hugging his brothers before departing on his adventure. Father Carter is talking to Jarods mentor by the car as they wait for Jarod to hurry on with his love fest.
Caption Three Photo(15) Jarod is sitting in the offices of the fort. Jarod realizes that this army life is not what it seemed to be. He is deciding whether he will continue his adventure or stop and head back to his Civil life.
