Academic Shoot; Rule Of Thirds

1. I followed the rule in this photo. There is just that cup that ruins the photo.
2. The subject in this is the girl drawing at the table but the cup is catching all of the attention.
3. I  think its clear that the girl is the subject but then the cup is what drags them away from her.
4. The way i could make the picture better and show the rule better is getting rid of the cup.
