Top 40

Marc Riboud
I chose this photo because this was a piece of history and of its finish around the center piece of the photo.
The photographer had made the corners of the photo darker and blurred so that the rays and glory of the light is shined around the flower being planted onto the bayonet. An the rays of light seem to be coming from that flower.
This photo had made the top 40 because it is a part of history and of is wonder glow around the flower.

I chose this photo because this is something you don't really see any other day, and the people and their reaction to this event, its incredible. I feel like if this is something that can't and maybe wouldn't happen in any other place.
The composition of this photo that had my eyes direct to were the focusing on what is going on, like the photographer had to capture what mattered in this photo, so everything is blurred around this focused spot.
This is something you wouldn't see any normal day, that's why I think its on the top 40
Claude P. Dettloff
I chose this photo because this is something that still happens to this day, the inability to let them go.
The thing that had caught my eye was the inclusion of reactions from the other men. I think seeing those other faces in the photo really set off the emotion sort of.
This has made the top 40 because its something that still happens today captured from a long time ago.
