Camera

1. The camera obscura effect is achieved by having a tiny hole in a wall that light is being focused through and the scene outside is then projected upside down on the other wall acting like a camera lens, focusing and projecting light onto the all of the dark room
2. Isaac Newton and Christian Huygens perfected the understanding of optics and the process of making high quality glass lenses in the 17th century which has made man one step closer to making the modern day camera.
3. In 1827 Joseph Nicéphore Niépce had added film to the portable camera obscuras which then successfully made the first modern camera.
4. Digital Cameras now a days still work as the ones first made. Light is sent through the lens into the camera and the film is then exposed.
5. Digital Cameras capture images by using an electronic sensor called a CCD. It makes modern photography cheaper and able to be stored on reusable computer memory devices.

6. Auto mode will make the camera completely control flash and exposure while program means it will automatic assist while you can control the flash and exposure in the settings of the camera.
7. Portrait mode is when you want only one thing to stand out in the photo like a person so the mode will attempt to blur the background using the fastest available lens.
8. Sports mode is used to stop all motion like when someone is running or a car is moving very fast, the camera would use the highest shutter speed possible.

9. Using the half pressed button skill helps in faster camera response time, more control over focus, and encourages better composition so it is essential for beginners to learn this skill.

10. The symbol with the lightning crossed means that flash is disabled. This would be used for not changing the mood of the photograph by effecting the light.
11. The symbol with the lightning and "auto" means the camera will flash when it thinks that the photograph needs more lighting. You could use this when you can not tell when a photo does or does not need lighting, like a little helper.

12. If there is to much light in the image the image will then be "washed out"
13. If there isn't enough light then the image will then be to dark.

14. Stop is used to represent a change in the brightness in light.
15. If the new planet had two suns it would be one stop brighter, double the light equals one stop.
16. If the new planet had four suns it would be two stops brighter.

17. The effect of having a longer shutter speed, it will capture more light.
18. The effect of having a shorter shutter speed will capture less light in the image.
19. The Aperture is like the pupil of the camera, it controls light.
20. You can increase the amount of light in a image by having larger aperture openings.
