1. While walking through the building i noticed a couple of new things and some things that just look different than they did last year. In between E and F hall, outside there is wooden stage. Not sure why its there but it is. In the hallways around the library there are new clocks. They are digital and not the older ones with hands. A new age we are going into i guess. When walking around the courtyard I see that most of the old vending machines are now gone. Thats a good and bad thing i guess, all they really had in them were powerades. An something different is that when walking down the hallways i see most of the art is gone but i guess thats just because the news kids will be hanging their art there now.
2. I did find someone that was wanting to be asked a couple questions and had a couple things to say about the new year,
//micaela A. R., 11th grade
"Im trying to make next year easier for myself, so i am taking all my science this year but all of it plus work equals hella tired dude."
"I came into school at the beginning of the week ready and excited but now I'm so done with it all already."
"I have a new orchestra teacher this year, third new one in a row."
"Something different now than last year is that i go to sleep way later and i have work during the week instead of just only on weekends."
//Seth B., 11th grade
"I came to school feeling awful and now I'm leaving school feeling awful, wonderful"
From this i see that student life is starting to change, kids working for themselves and looking into the future. Just waiting to leave now i guess, to start. But I'm sure they don't know how bad it can be out in the real world. How much they will miss school.
3. A new procedure to everyone that has been going here is the new bell schedule and all. It being ten minutes later and all, its a bit of a problem for me being now i have to rush even more to get to work but its whatever, getting used to it.
4. I know that art club is already talking about competitions like scholastics and stuff and that they are asking people to come to art club because at bulldogs and hot dogs they need more artist for their booth.
6./7.
"Where are they now?" or "Where are the fish now?" - upper classmen talk about the beginning of freshman year compared to the beginning of their last year and how it is different and where they are going and doing now.
"How to SAT" something about psat and sat, idk i know i hear lots of kids talking about it though, talking about the benefits or what they are in the paper seem like it would be a good idea.
